Two men who have seen Titanic. John Parkinson (b. 7 Jan. 1907) saw the Titanic on the slipway and waved to her as she left Belfast in April 1912. Leonard Evans saw the Titanic under the Atlantic on on 2 September 2000. Photograph taken at meeting of the Belfast Titanic Society 12 October 2004. Sadly, John died on 1 March 2006 at age 99. |
